It is a real honour to serve as the UK Lead for ProLon, a programme created by Professor Valter Longo, one of the world's leading longevity researchers.

Professor Longo's scientific journey began with a simple but powerful question. 'why do we age'? That curiosity led him to spend decades studying the impact of nutrition and fasting on human health, resulting in some of the most influential longevity research of our time.

Being able to help bring his vision and evidence-based approach to more people across the UK is something I am truly proud of. His work continues to inspire me and many others who believe that healthy ageing should be accessible to everyone.

Three 5* Reviews in Three Days.

From the very first chat, this one stood out. 🌿

A free initial enquiry call, a genuinely warm and easy conversation, and straight into the right tests to find real answers, not guesswork. When we sat down to go through the results, everything was laid out clearly, what it meant, what we could do next, and what the follow-up plan looks like.

The reports went far deeper than expected, and there's now a clear 12-week plan in place. Honestly, the excitement about what's ahead is my favourite part. 💚

If you've been on the fence, the initial chat costs you nothing. You really do have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

This client has been with me for a good while now,

This client has been with me for a good while now, through a really traumatic operation and gut symptoms that, at their worst, sat at a full 10 out of 10. There was no quick fix here. We ran the tests, followed the evidence, and adjusted the plan step by step as her body told us what it needed.

Slowly, that 10 became a 7. Then a 5. Now she's living most days under a 5, which for her means holidays again, days out with family, and simply enjoying her life rather than managing around it.

I'm so grateful for the trust she's placed in me through all of it. This is exactly why I do this work. 💚

🚨 THE LATEST ULTRA-PROCESSED FOOD RESEARCH

Here are some of the biggest headlines

🔬 8.8 million people studied
A major meta-analysis of 51 prospective studies found higher UPF intake was associated with increased risk of cardiovascular disease, metabolic disease, obesity, digestive disease, depression, cancer and mortality.

❤️ Atherosclerosis
A UK Biobank study involving more than 133,000 people found higher UPF intake was associated with an increased risk of developing atherosclerosis, with researchers also identifying metabolic and inflammatory signatures.

🧠 Depression & anxiety
A new pilot trial published in JAMA Psychiatry found that reducing UPFs was associated with lower depression and anxiety scores. The study was small — just 20 participants — so larger trials are needed, but the findings are certainly interesting.

🎗️ Cancer & early-onset cancer
A new Harvard-led review published in Carcinogenesis examined the growing evidence linking UPFs with cancer, including early-onset cancers, and explored potential mechanisms involving inflammation, metabolic dysfunction, the gut microbiome, additives and processing by-products.

🦠 The gut microbiome remains a major focus
Researchers are increasingly investigating whether food additives, altered food structures and other characteristics of UPFs may influence the gut microbiome, intestinal barrier and metabolic health.

🍽️ And perhaps one of the biggest questions…
Is the problem simply that many UPFs are high in calories, sugar, salt and unhealthy fats — or could the processing itself also matter?

The science is still evolving, but the direction of research is clear. We need to look beyond calories and nutrients and understand the whole food — including its structure, processing, additives and effects on appetite, metabolism and the gut.

This wasn't a simple nutrition case.

✅ Significant weight loss
✅ Ongoing pain and discomfort
✅ Multiple concerns requiring careful assessment
✅ Differential diagnosis considerations before treatment

Rather than overwhelming the client with numerous supplements and complicated protocols, I focused on:

🥗 Simple, practical nutrition changes
📋 A personalised diet plan
💊 Just ONE carefully selected supplement

The result? A huge difference in a relatively short period of time.

Good nutrition isn't always about adding more. Sometimes it's about identifying the right intervention at the right time.

Thank you, for your kind words and for allowing me to be part of your journey. 🙏

If something isn’t quite right, change it. And that is easier said than done, I know all too well.

I walked around our new local area today and loved it.

A stronger sense of community, more shops within walking distance, a more relaxed vibe. ❤️

💛 IT'S NATIONAL GRATITUDE DAY 💛

As today is National Gratitude Day, I wanted to share a little personal news…

As a family, we’ve made the decision to relocate for the next 9–12 months to support my daughter through her final year of GCSEs.

We’ve moved into a penthouse overlooking the reef, just a short walk from her school, rather than potentially spending up to two hours a day travelling.

And honestly… it has been game-changing.

It’s amazing how much more time and headspace you suddenly have when you take away hours of commuting. More time together. More time outside. More time to breathe. More time to notice the little things.

And I’m finding myself feeling an even deeper sense of gratitude for the tiny moments that I might previously have rushed straight past.

A new location.
A new perspective.
A new rhythm.
A completely new way of life. 🌿

I’ve always wondered where this sign opposite the school would take me…

And today, I found out.

Just off the main high street is the most beautiful nature reserve and woodland walk — somewhere I would probably never have discovered if we hadn’t made this move.

And standing there today, I just felt incredibly grateful.

Sometimes life takes you somewhere you never expected to go, and you realise that the change you were nervous about was exactly what you needed.

So today, I’m choosing to pause and appreciate it all. 💛

What are you feeling grateful for today?
